The Fine Print
Terms, Refunds & Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve your class date and time. The remaining balance is due no later than 24 hours before the scheduled class. Payment is accepted via credit or debit card through our secure Stripe checkout system. Classes are not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Deposits are non-refundable, as they secure your date, time, and materials for the session. If you have paid in full and cancel your class at least 48 hours in advance, you are eligible for a refund of all payments except the deposit. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled class will not receive a refund. No refunds are issued for no-shows or late arrivals exceeding 15 minutes without prior notice. Refunds, when applicable, are returned to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Clients may reschedule their class once at no charge if the request is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. Requests to reschedule made less than 48 hours in advance may require a new deposit to hold the new date. In the event of inclement weather, illness, or emergencies, Catalyst Works LLC reserves the right to reschedule your class at no additional cost.
Class fees are charged per person based on the selected service. The final headcount must be confirmed at least 24 hours before the class. If fewer participants attend than expected, no refund is issued for absent participants. Replacement certificates or eCards can be reissued for $10 each upon verification of class completion.
Certification cards (AHA eCards) are issued only upon successful completion of all course requirements, including attendance, skill demonstration, and written testing when applicable. All certifications are issued electronically via the American Heart Association eCard system, typically within the same day of class completion.
A travel fee of $25–$50 may apply for classes located more than 25 miles from Cartersville, GA. Travel fees are non-refundable once the instructor has arrived at the training location. All participants are expected to follow safety instructions during training. Catalyst Works LLC and its instructors are not liable for any injury or loss sustained during or after a class. Training is educational and does not guarantee performance outcomes in real-life emergencies.
Your personal information is collected only for training, scheduling, and certification purposes. All data is stored securely and shared only with the AHA Training Center as required to issue certification cards. For more details on data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
